Orange Lake Country Club - Reserve

Architect Mike Dasher transformed the former Resort Course, designed by Joe Lee in 1982, into this all-new, exciting golf experience. Orange Lake Resort Orlando features 36 holes of championship golf, including the Reserve Golf Course.  The Reserve at Orange Lake Resort is now an 18-hole, par 71 course winding through a myriad of water, sand and rolling greens. It was named The Reserve at Orange Lake to highlight the harmony between the perfectly manicured greens of the course and the carefully preserved surrounding wetlands, home to a variety of native plants and wildlife.

Improvements to the layout and course conditions-including new water features and bunkering-make the course even more challenging than before.  Orange Lake Resort offers two championship layouts:  The Legends Golf Course at Orange Lake Resort and The Reserve Golf Course.  In addition to the championship courses, Orange Lake Resort has the 9-hole Crane’s Bend Golf Course to satisfy golfers.

As its name suggests, the Reserve’s 18 holes and 6,505 yards of expansive greens were specifically redesigned by course architect Mike Dasher in 2005 to be in harmony with our carefully preserved wetlands to give you the taste of natural Florida.

Designed by Arnold Palmer, this 7,072-yard championship course offers two distinct play experiences. Scottish-style golf is featured on the front nine; while the towering pines, majestic oaks, winding fairways and flowing water on the back nine are reminiscent of the Carolinas.

The Links and The Pines. The Arnold Palmer designed Legends Course at Orange Lake Resort features two distinctly different nines. Orange Lake Resort Orlandofeatures 36 holes of championship golf, including the Legends Golf Course. Reminiscent of old Scottish-style courses, “The Links” wide-open nine will bring windy conditions into play that can make club selection challenging. Strategically contoured greens require well-placed approach shots and precision putting. The longest of Orange Lake’s challenging golf holes at 610 yards, The Links hole #4 is a good warm-up before venturing into “The Pines”.

Towering pines, majestic oaks, winding fairways and flowing water create a serene setting complementing each hole on the back nine. Tee shots are fired between strategic openings cut through the trees. A wayward shot here could result in a ball pushed deep in the woods. Much like the classic courses of North Carolina, proper club selection and accuracy are required to successfully navigate through The Pines. The Island Oak, hole #13, is the feature hole at The Legends course.

The course has multiple sets of tee boxes to ensure that all skill levels can enjoy a challenging round. Driving range available during the day.

    Kissimmee Golf Club

Located less than 20 minutes away from Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and Orlando, Kissimmee Golf Club (KGC) provides the best golfing value year-round in Central Florida. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy a challenging, beautifully conditioned golf course unobstructed by any houses or hotels lining the fairways.

Reasonable rates and convenient location make KGC the perfect destination for the local and international golfer.

The Kissimmee Golf Club has been a golfing landmark since it opened its first nine holes in the 1940s. Since that time, the golf club has flourished, adding another nine holes in the early 1960s, and re-designing many of the tees and greens in 1998. As a result, Kissimmee Golf Club is one of the most favored 18-hole golf courses in Central Florida, bringing golfers from the area and abroad back time and time again for a remarkable golfing experience.

Water comes into play on nearly every hole on this par-72 course. Large lakes, small ponds, and narrow waterways are all encountered as golfers make their way from tee to tee. Many times the water hazards stretch across two, three, and even four holes at a time, making the course at Kissimmee Golf Club seem relentless. Golfers will also notice fairways that are lined with beautiful pines, majestic oaks, and breezy palms –without a house in sight. The greens are well-maintained and ideal for those wanting to improve on their short game.

Experts will always be challenged, especially playing from the championship tees – totaling 6,442 yards of play. In addition, those with less golfing experience can play from three other sets of tees – with the front tees totaling 4,942 yards. There is certainly something for everyone at Kissimmee Golf Club.

Kissimmee Golf Club is perfectly situated. It is moments from the Kissimmee Municipal Airport and only 20 minutes from Orlando. Kissimmee is famous for much more than spectacular golf, as well. Visitors to the area can tour SeaWorld, Universal Studios, or even Walt Disney World. They can enjoy the water of Lake Tohopekaliga or they can just wander through the city’s shops. Restaurants abound, giving locals and visitors ample opportunity to sample a wide range of cuisines.

A comfortable clubhouse, surrounded by oaks and palms, greets golfers at Kissimmee Golf Club. After 18-holes of golf, many people will saunter over to the full-service restaurant that boasts some of the best breakfast and lunch in town. There is also a pro shop and a driving range on-site. The Tee to Green Golf School and Junior Golf Camp is well-known and can improve even the most capable golfer’s swing.
