Reunion Resort - Tradition Course

Unlike the severe hills of the Legacy and Independence courses, this Parkland-style layout is smooth and flowing, with long horizon lines as well as elevated tee boxes and greens.

The 7,255 yard Tradition course can be as deceptive as it is beautiful. Designed to tempt golfers into hitting risky shots with potentially big payoffs, The Tradition challenges the golfer to step up to the ball with a carefully organized series of shots in his or her mind.

Designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, The Tradition is the newest of the three courses at Ginn Reunion Resort. The two Jacks took advantage of naturally undulating terrain when designing this outstanding layout. The beautiful setting showcases water on nine holes and a variety of oaks, magnolias, maples, and palms.

Reunion Golf Resort features 54 holes of championship golf.  The resort features the Reunion Resort Nicklaus Golf Course, Reunion Resort Palmer Golf Course and Reunion Resort Watson Golf Course.

Highlighted by fast, firm and wide rolling fairways, a variety of strategically placed bunkers and large greens, the 7,257 yard, par 72 Independence Course is as much about strategy as it is about length.

Demanding a well thought out approach from every player regardless of skill level, The Independence puts a premium on a solid short game with spacious green complexes where club selection can vary from putter to lob wedge to three-wood.

The Independence course was the first of the Ginn Reunion Resort courses to open and also Tom Watson’s first Signature design in Florida. The Independence offers a native appearance framed by numerous varieties of native grasses, azaleas, camellias, and other native foliage. While The Independence is certainly beautiful, it’s equally challenging. Watson’s thoughtful use of bunkers will make you think your way around.

Designed by Champions Tour player and NBC golf analyst Gary Koch and rated a 4 1/2 star course by Golf Digest,Mystic Dunes Golf Club is renowned as one of the most unique courses in Florida.

Located at the beautiful Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club just two miles from Walt Disney World® in the heart of Central Florida, our 7,012 yard par 71 public course offers two distinctly different nines. The “low country” style front nine is reminiscent of classic Carolina courses, meandering through native wetlands and marsh areas, bordering oak and cypress forests. The back nine features the characteristics of a British Isles links course, with extensive perimeter mounding, pot bunkers, and lush fairways.

Elevation changes of up to 80 feet, greens reminiscent of Augusta National, rolling sand dunes, mature oaks and large wetland areas, meticulous course conditioning and five sets of tee boxes offer a unique and memorable experience for golfers of all skill levels

Warmly regarded as a true golf legend and widely-respected as a golf course architect, Gary Player has put his personal stamp on Alaqua Country Club. It’s not just the 55-foot-high tees that get your attention. He designed the course to be consistently enjoyable and quite fair for his level of play and for that of the 15-handicapper. Beauty, playability and variety of shot-making were the objectives. According to the many pros who have tackled Alaqua Country Club at one time or another – and the members and guest who tour the course every week – this eighteen holes accomplishes them all.

Alaqua Country Club’s new clubhouse is complete!
A 14,000 sq. ft. clubhouse that is consistent with the architecture of a majority of the homes in Alaqua. It is beautiful and functional and we are excited to present it to our new members. Semi-private Stonegate Golf Club with two championship 18-hole golf courses, The Oaks, designed by Ron Garl, and The Cypress, an original Joe Lee layout redesigned in 2006 by George Clifton. The golf club includes the Grille at Stonegate, a casual restaurant and watering hole; a well-stocked pro shop; and men’s and women’s locker facilities. Outside is a deck overlooking the course, an aquatic driving range, practice chipping and putting greens. (Membership is optional.)
